Two Kaukauna residents are without a home following a fire over the weekend.
WBAY TV reports that fire crews were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Wilson Street just after 11:00 Friday morning on a report of smoke and flames.
The fire was found in the basement of the home and was quickly extinguished.
It is not clear what started the fire.
No one was home at the time but they did find the fire after they returned home.
While no injuries were reported, the flames caused an estimated $25,000 in damage.
It was also noted that the home had working smoke detectors, which the Kaukauna Fire Department said alerted the family to the fire.
