A major recovery milestone has been reached by one of the pillars of the Manitowoc community.
Tina Prigge has been in a Green Bay Hospital since she and her husband Jason Prigge were stuck head-on while riding their motorcycles in Shawano County on July 6th.
Amber Daugs of Grow it Forward posted an update on a GoFundMe page created for the couple who founded the Coolest Coast and hosted the After Further Review program on WOMT Radio, noting that Tina is out of the ICU.
While she has a long way to go in her recovery, the champion of all things Manitowoc was able to sit up in a chair recently, which is a huge step forward for her.
As far as Jason’s recovery, he is due to begin physical therapy this week, but he is still in a lot of pain and has a lot of recovery ahead as well.
While he has stated many times that this situation is a “living nightmare,” Jason also made a statement on his Facebook page, noting, “The sun also rises. We will prevail. I love you all.”
