One of the suspects in last year’s armed home invasion in Barron has avoided trial by accepting a plea deal.
Ryan Charpentier pleaded guilty on Friday to being party to armed robbery, resulting in the dismissal of four other charges.
Charpentier is one of two individuals charged in the December home invasion where a 70-year-old man was tied up, threatened, and robbed of $13,000, jewelry, and guns.
Charpentier is scheduled to be sentenced in October.
