The gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin rose significantly over the past week.
According to the AAA Gas Prices website, the average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel in Manitowoc County has jumped 11 cents since this time last week, now sitting at $3.37.
This is the largest increase in the county since the second week of May and was the smallest increase in the area.
Sheboygan and Outagamie Counties each saw spikes of 22 cents, both now averaging $3.38 per gallon, while Calumet County saw a 16-cent bump to $3.44.
Elsewhere, Brown County’s average jumped 20 cents to $3.40, Kewaunee County’s fuel is 19 cents per gallon more expensive at $3.41, and Door County saw a leap of 17 cents to $3.42.
The state average followed a similar trend, jumping 14 cents to $3.43, while the national average actually dropped two cents to $3.50.
