Germaine C. Thiel, age 94, formerly of Two Rivers passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Manitowoc.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial of her remains to take place at Knollwood Memorial Park at a later time.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services at 1:30 p.m.
Survivors include her granddaughter: Kerri (Polifka) Pier and her husband Brian Pier, Louisville, CO; one great granddaughter: Kaiden Salazar; a son-in-law: Raymond Polifka; a sister-in-law: Shirley Graykowski; her special friend: Mary Zich, Green Bay; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Germaine was preceded in death by her parents Leo & Margaret Hastreiter, one daughter Diane Polifka, one brother and sister-in-law Raymond & Arlene Hastreiter as well as several other relatives.
