Manitowoc’s Lincoln Park Zoo will be holding its first-ever Zoo Snooze event.
On August 10, the event invites members of the community to experience the zoo after hours.
Guests will have the opportunity to camp out in their own tents at the zoo.
Some of the activities at the Zoo Snooze will include animal experiences, a tie-dying opportunity, and enjoying s’mores during an outdoor movie.
Whitney Reynolds with the Lincoln Park Zoo told Seehafer News, “As a society, we are hoping to spread our passion for our little zoo to the community through this event.”
She also said she has kids of her own who cannot contain their excitement for the chance to camp out at the zoo.
All proceeds from the event will help fund the zoo and its operation.
