A 30-year-old Menasha man has died following a skateboarding accident in Brillion.
NBC26 reports that the man and another individual were illegally skateboarding at the Ariens Nordic Center on the cross-country skill track at around 4:45 Friday afternoon when the Menasha man crashed at the bottom of a hill.
Emergency vehicles were called to the scene, including a helicopter, but in an update Saturday evening, it was confirmed that the man had died.
The man reportedly struck his head on a hard surface.
The name of the victim will not be released, as per the family’s wishes.
