The deadline to apply for bobcat and fisher hunting and trapping permits is fast approaching.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), applications must be submitted by Thursday, August 1st.
Interested individuals can apply via the Wisconsin Go Wild license portal or in person at any authorized license sales location.
The permits will be allocated through a random drawing in mid-August.
