The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a motorcyclist who evaded police.
Sgt. Brian Bednarek reports that a deputy had attempted to pull the cyclist over just after 7:00 Saturday evening for a speed violation on Highway 175 near Fox Ridger Drive in the Town of Fond du Lac.
As the deputy approached, the rider turned onto Highway 151 and sped up to an estimated 130 miles per hour.
The individual then crossed over the median and exited onto Hickory Street at speeds of around 100 MPH.
They were last seen on Highway B approaching Highway D after leading police on a 6-mile chase.
The bike was believed to be a Yamaha MT-09 or similar model that was black with red accents and red or orange rims.
