The Fond du Lac Police Department is thanking the public for their help in catching a burglar.
On May 31st, the Department posted a photo of a man who was believed to be entering unlocked vehicles.
The 29-year-old man was taking items from the cars, and if there was a garage door opener inside, he would go inside.
Since the post, numerous tips were called in, leading to the man’s arrest.
He has not been identified by police at this time, but he is currently being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail.
The Department recognized the public for their help, saying, “We appreciate all of you and the tips! With your help, we were able to track down another criminal and hold him accountable.”
