The 15-year-old Green Bay boy charged in a shooting is trying to get his case moved to juvenile court.
FOX11 reports that Freddrick Love-Kennedy’s attorney has filed a motion to have the case moved as those between 10 and 16 years of age can have their case tried in juvenile court, however a judge would have to sign off on it.
Love-Kenedy is facing a charge of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide with Use of a Dangerous Weapon for a shooting that occurred on the east side of Green Bay back in April.
Police were dispatched to the area of Mills and Village Streets on a report of a 16-year-old boy who had been shot.
It was learned that the victim and Love-Kennedy had been involved in a dispute, which may have led to the violent confrontation.
He is currently being held on a $100,000 cash bond and has a preliminary hearing set for September 10th.
