The man who broke into an Eau Claire home, stole a gun, and assaulted a woman with it, has been sentenced to prison.
An Eau Claire judge handed down a three-year prison sentence to Mitchell Henke yesterday.
Henke had been the subject of a week-long police search before he was found in Oshkosh.
Prosecutors described Henke as armed and dangerous, noting that he beat the woman in front of her two-year-old child.
After serving his prison term, Henke will also serve three years of probation.
