A person of interest has been arrested in connection to a weekend homicide in Oshkosh.
The Oshkosh Police Department responded to the 500 block of High Avenue at 2:30 Saturday morning (August 10th) on a reported stabbing.
The 20-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Police arrested a 22-year-old Oshkosh man involved in the incident and asked the public for help in locating 23-year-old Sybastian Crossman, also of Oshkosh.
Thanks to a tip from the public, Crossman was located and was arrested without incident.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the arrest, although it is not clear what charges he will be facing.
