Two people have now been arrested for their roles in a wrench-aided robbery in Grand Chute.
The Grand Chute Police Department was called to a business in the 400 block of West Northland Avenue just before 1:00 Saturday afternoon to investigate the robbery.
The suspect was described as a man disguised as a woman who used a wrench as a weapon.
A search ensued, leading to the arrest of 32-year-old Beau D. Wastel and 34-year-old Cory S. Schmitz.
Wastel is facing charges of Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Criminal Damage to Property, while Schmitz was charged with Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Criminal Damage to Property, each as party to the crime.
Grand Chute Police were assisted in the case by the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office and Appleton Police Department.
