Every dog has his day, and for K9 Mika with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, that day was last week Friday.
WHBL reports that K9 Mika was honored for his eight years of dedicated service to the Sheboygan community as he went off duty for the last time.
With his retirement, Mika was handed off to his longtime handler, Deputy Jason Brockway, to enjoy a life of fetch and relaxation.
Over his career, Mika was involved in all sorts of calls, specifically drug-related calls, as Deputy Brockway is a Narcotics Investigator.
