A beloved Manitowoc summer event is back for another year.
The 2024 Lakeshore Balloon Glow will be illuminating downtown Manitowoc from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on August 16th.
The event is for all ages and is free to enter.
Attendees will get to see the fun and colorful hot air balloons glowing along Manitowoc’s riverfront along with other entertainment, including the Webfooters Water Ski Show, aerial dancers, bounce houses, face painting, Mischief & Magic performances, story times, a snake show, and the chance to meet Miss Wisconsin 2024, Mandi Genord, amongst other activities.
There will be over a dozen food trucks available on both sides of the Manitowoc River, both around and in the parking lots.
There will also be a free shuttle service for the event between 4:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. from three different parking areas: Lincoln High School JFK Field House parking lot, Roncalli High School parking lot, and the Faith Church parking lot.
The shuttle will stop at each of the locations every half hour, and the drop-off and pick-up zone is by the Manitowoc Public Library on 8th Street.
The event will end with a fireworks show starting at 8:30 p.m.
