Approximately 2,000 WPS customers in Manitowoc County have had their power restored after an undetermined incident early this afternoon.
The outage was reported at about 12:45 Tuesday afternoon, as 929 customers in the Town of Newton, 626 customers in Manitowoc Rapids, 324 in the City of Manitowoc, 57 in the Town of Centerville, and 50 in the Town of Cato were off the grid.
No official cause has yet to be released by Wisconsin Public Service.
