A Sheboygan man was arrested by Sun Prairie police on a child sex charge.
The Sun Prairie Police Department reports that they conducted a search warrant on a home in the City of Sheboygan on Tuesday (August 13th) in connection to an ongoing investigation.
A juvenile in Sun Prairie told investigators that Peyton Mayer of Sheboygan had solicited nude photos from a juvenile family member before offering to post them online and share any money made off of the photos.
Mayer was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Dane County Jail on a charge of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
Sun Prairie Police were aided by the Sheboygan Police Department and the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department.
