A couple of new restaurants are making their way into Two Rivers.
City Manager Greg Buckley said on WOMT’s Be My Guest Program that a group called Spices Two Rivers LLC out of Sheboygan will be moving into the old M&M Lunch building on Washington Street.
Buckley says the city recently approved a tavern license at their last council meeting.
The building could be renovated as well.
The Spices Restaurant and Bar serves south Asian food, such as Indian, and has locations in Manitowoc and Sheboygan.
Buckley also mentioned that the Starbucks downtown is coming along with brick being put up.
It’s not specifically known when it will open, but it should be this fall.
We also reported that the new owners of the former Luigi’s Restaurant on Jackson got a $10,000 grant from the city to help with investments on the property.
