Another section of roadway will be closed for an extended period of time due to the I-41 expansion project.
The DOT has announced that French and Southbridge Roads are now closed to through traffic from Creamery Road to Innovation Court through the fall of 2026.
Also, the closure of Capitol Drive over I-41 has been extended.
The initial re-opening date was supposed to be in August, but it has been changed to sometime this fall.
Motorists are also advised to keep an eye out for overnight closures in both lanes in any work zones.
