The Two Rivers Police Department says the Elijah Vue case still remains on their minds.
That’s the latest update from Captain Andrew Raatz as the department marks it being six months since the 3-year-old toddler went missing on February 20th.
Raatz says the department continue to follow up on tips and leads with the help of our local, state and federal law enforcement partners.
In the last several months we have conducted further searches utilizing private search and rescue groups on land, water and in the air.
Rumors have continued to circulate online with continued posting of Elijah being found, which again are false.
Raatz also says there’s also been a fake “Go Fund Me” or similar pages that have been set up, which are fake.
The captain finishes saying, “We feel its important for the public to know that while they might have seen us in the last several months resuming standard operations within our community such as calls for service, community events and the like, the search for Elijah and the investigation still continues and remains our priority.”
A reward is still available for anyone with information surrounding Elijah’s disappearance including the arrest and conviction of someone.
