The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has closed the 2024 fiscal year in a record-setting fashion.
Over the last 12 months, the WEDC has seen $2.4 billion in planned capital investments by state businesses, $100 million in new funding for entrepreneurs, and over $33 million towards strengthening communities throughout the state.
These investments are going back to communities, the workforce, and business innovations.
This fiscal year’s $2.4 billion in investments is the highest the WEDC has ever seen since the corporation was created over ten years ago. One of these investments included Sartori Cheese’s $60 million expansion of its Plymouth location.
