The Green Bay Blizzard cleaned house at the Indoor Football League’s postseason honors banquet.
The Blizzard was named the Indoor Football League – Franchise of The Year, an honor they received last year as well, and received the Community Relations Award for the second year in a row.
The Franchise of the Year award is granted to the best overall team during the 2024 season, taking into consideration attendance, sales, public relations, marketing, and efforts to improve the IFL as a whole.
As we previously reported, Coach Corey Roberson was named the Coach of the Year, and Defensive Back Vie Rivers was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
Tied for the league lead in interceptions, Rivers hauled in eight interceptions through 15 games, returning them for the third-most yards (49) in the IFL.
Rivers ranked fourth in the league in tackles (91.5), adding three tackles for loss to this stat line.
