A local entrepreneur is bringing a popular business venture to Manitowoc.
Brad Lighthall of Rent in Manitowoc LLC is in the process of getting a set of business rentals up and running at 2619 Hamilton Street.
Brad tells Seehafer News that the structure, known as Manitowoc Business Bays, is similar to other buildings around the country, including Green Bay and Appleton, which allows young or small businesses to have office space.
“(There are) an unbelievable number of contractors and small businesses in Manitowoc County…who can’t necessarily afford to build their own building,” Brad explained. “Or, maybe they haven’t been in business for long and don’t know if it is 100% viable.”
Brad is hoping the entrepreneurs in this situation take this opportunity to grow their small businesses.
“We are expecting people to grow out of our space,” he said. “We want people who are either just starting out, or are established and just need a stepping stone to get to the next level. That’s what we want to be.”
The building is anticipated to be completed in October, but Rent Manitowoc LLC is currently accepting applications to occupy the 1,500 square foot units, each of which are supplied with heat, electrical, and their own restrooms.
