Two are severely injured following a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
WBAY reports that Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputies were called for an accident at the intersection of Spring Road and Julius Drive in Greenville at approximately 5:00 p.m. yesterday (August 29th).
The two riding the motorcycle, a 70-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman, both of Greenville, were struck and sustained serious injuries.
The pickup truck was driven by a 36-year-old man from Greenville, who was uninjured.
Initial investigation showed that the pickup truck was turning onto Julius Drive when it struck the motorcycle and its two occupants.
The 70-year-old man was taken to a local hospital via ThedaStar while the 71-year-old woman was transported by ambulance to treat their injuries.
At this time, it is not believed that alcohol played a factor in the incident.
