Two people are dead following a crash in Shawano County.
According to Shawano County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Jesse Sperberg, deputies were called to a single-vehicle crash on Elm Road near Koan Tuk Drive in the Town of Bartelme.
The caller reported that the car was on fire, and the people involved in the crash were severely injured.
When emergency services arrived, they found the car fully engulfed in flames.
The Stockbridge-Munsee Fire Department was able to put out the fire but then found a man and a woman who had both been ejected from the vehicle.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information or names are being released at this time as they try to confirm the identities of the victims and notify their families.
