A Town of Porterfield man has been charged with multiple felony counts of possession of child pornography.
An Investigation performed by the Marinette Police Department has led DeShea Morrow, the Marinette County District Attorney, to announce the charges filed against 41-year-old Brian Tornberg.
A criminal complaint filed by the DA’s office in December 2023 claimed that Marinette PD received information stating electronic devices owned by Tornberg contained child sexual abuse material.
After obtaining a search warrant for the devices, an analysis confirmed the presence of child pornography.
Tornberg was taken into custody and appeared in court for a bail hearing on Tuesday (August 27th).
His bond has been set at $10,000 cash and he must have no contact with minors.
The Marinette Police Department was assisted in the matter by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Marinette County DA’s Office, and the Marinette County Department of Health and Human Services.
