Eastern Wisconsin had a positive end to August, at least at the gas pump.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County has dropped four cents over the past week, with the average now sitting at $3.13.
This is the lowest price in the county since the middle of June. Meanwhile, Sheboygan County saw a decline of five cents to $3.21 and Calumet County had the biggest drop in the area, dipping seven cents over the past week to an average of $3.13 per gallon.
Outagamie County wasn’t far behind, falling six cents to $3.12, while Brown County’s three-cent drop gives them an average of $3.17 per gallon.
Kewaunee County’s average fell only one penny to $3.18, while Door County has the most expensive fuel in the area, with an average of $3.26 after a three-cent decline.
The state average saw a six-cent drop to $3.17, while the national average is only down two cents to $3.33.
