A mural project in Two Rivers has been completed.
The city’s Bird City Mural was finished in the absence of Jason Prigge, who was hired by Two Rivers Main Streets to paint the mural.
Prigge thanked Two Rivers Main Streets Director Jason Ring, Michael Ditmer, and David Carpenter on After Further Review last week because they helped finish the mural when Jason was hurt in his motorcycle crash.
The mural was created to highlight all the bird species in the Badger state while also paying homage to Woodland Dunes celebrating 50 years.
Two Rivers Main Streets Director Jason Ring calls the mural absolutely amazing, and the city gets compliments on it all the time.
You’re able to find what each bird sounds like with a QR code painted next to each one of them.
The mural is part of the city of Two Rivers’ Goals and Objectives, including the development of the local arts community as a part of the quality of life and economic development.
