Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is suing to get off the Wisconsin ballot.
Kennedy’s campaign yesterday filed a lawsuit in Dane County court.
Wisconsin law doesn’t allow candidates to remove themselves from the ballot once they are certified, and that happened last week.
However, Kennedy’s lawyers say that the same election laws give Republicans and Democrats more time to drop off the ballot.
RFK Jr.’s lawsuit asks for the same amount of time. It may be too late, however.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission certified the November ballot last week, and some local clerks are already printing theirs.
