The first major traffic disruption in the Highway 310 resurfacing project has been announced.
Mark Kantola, the Project Manager with the DOT, tells Seehafer News that the roundabouts at County Roads R, Q, and B will close next week.
Traffic will be detoured around the area starting on Monday (September 9th), with the closure remaining in effect through September 20th.
The $4.3 million project began earlier this year, with a goal of giving motorists a smoother ride and less wear and tear on vehicles.
Additionally, the life of the pavement is being extended, drainage is being improved, and guardrails are being upgraded.
