The man in charge of the sidelines for the Manitowoc County Mariners has stepped down.
Head Coach Brett Luebke announced that after three years at the helm, he will be pursuing other interests.
Coach Luebke started his tenure as coach in 2021 and helped lead the program to the Northern Lights Football League Championship game in 2022, a North division championship in 2023, and a playoff appearance in 2024.
Mariners Founder Marcos Alfaro thanked Luebke “for his dedication to our program and the community and wish him well. We have been fortunate to have him help us rebuild this program.”
He also noted that a try-out date has been set for Saturday, December 7th, at the Purdy Performance Center in Green Bay.
