The Manitowoc man who allegedly destroyed a hotel room has officially been charged.
59-year-old Douglas Ducat was given a $1,500 recognizance bond after an incident late last week at the Quality Inn on 44th Street.
Police were called, where they found Ducat asleep on the bed in his room.
The toilet was said to have been demolished to the point the room was flooded, and numerous other items were broken.
Ducat admitted to destroying the room, and smoking in the building, leading to his arrest on charges of Criminal Damage to property over $2,500, and Disorderly Conduct.
He was ordered to have no contact with Quality Inn or its staff and to maintain absolute sobriety.
He is next due in court on September 23rd.
