The Manitowoc Lincoln Cross Country team was in De Pere yesterday (September 5th) for the Jim Boyd Invitational, which featured 26 schools from around the area.
In the girls’ race, Manitowoc Lincoln finished 4th, led by Natalie Portmann’s 4th place finish.
The next fastest Shipbuilder was Kendall Schmitz, who finished 34th.
De Pere picked up the team victory, while Plymouth finished 7th, and Manitowoc Lutheran was 24th.
On the boys’ side, the Ships came in 13th place, led by Reid Stryzewski’s 13th-place individual finish.
De Pere also won the boys’ competition, with three runners among the top five finishers, while Plymouth finished 5th, and Manitowoc Lutheran was 21st.
