Acuity Insurance in Sheboygan County has announced the promotion of ten of its associates.
Anthony Simanovski is promoted to Manager – Commercial Underwriting. Anthony joined Acuity in 2014 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and was promoted to Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter in 2020. He earned a degree in business administration with concentrations in FIRE (finance, insurance, real estate) and business management with a minor in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. Anthony currently resides in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
Derek Post is promoted to Manager – Commercial Underwriting. Derek joined Acuity in 2013 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and was later promoted to Commercial Lines Staff Underwriter and then Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. Derek currently resides in Howards Grove, Wisconsin.
Joe Hansen is promoted to Manager – Commercial Underwriting. Joe joined Acuity in 2015 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and was promoted to Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter in 2020. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Norbert College and a master’s degree in sports administration from Indiana University. Joe furthered his education by receiving the Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) and Associate in Commercial Underwriting–Management (AU-M) designations. Joe currently resides in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
Sam Leinon is promoted to Manager – Commercial Underwriting. Sam joined Acuity in 2017 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and was promoted to Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter in 2022. He attended Butler University double majoring in accounting and risk management and insurance. Sam furthered his education by receiving the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations. Sam currently resides in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Jessica Spencer is promoted to Manager – Services. Jessica joined Acuity in 2008 as a Commercial Processor and was promoted to Senior Commercial Processor in 2018. She received her administrative assistant associate degree from Lakeshore Technical College. Jessica furthered her education by completing the Property and Liability Insurance Principles (INS 21) and Commercial Insurance (INS 23) courses. Jessica currently resides in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
Trey K. Mitchell is promoted to Senior Programmer Analyst. Trey joined Acuity in 2016 as a Programmer – Intern, was hired as a Programmer in 2017, and was promoted to Programmer Analyst in 2019. He graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Trey resides in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Matthew Dreger is promoted to Programmer Analyst. Matthew joined Acuity in 2021 as a Programmer – Intern and was hired full-time as a Programmer in 2022. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stout with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Matt resides in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Rachel Miller is promoted to Programmer Analyst. She joined Acuity in 2022 as a Programmer. Rachel earned bachelor’s degrees in computer science and applied math computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Stout. She resides in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Michelle Molkenthine is promoted to Director – Payroll. Michelle joined Acuity in 1990 as an Accounting Clerk. She was promoted to Staff Accountant in 1995, Senior Staff Accountant in 2002, and Senior Staff Accountant – Payroll & Budget in 2021. Michelle earned her bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration from Lakeland University and is continuing her education to earn the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation. Michelle resides in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
Stephen Nelson is promoted to Senior Field Claims Representative. Stephen joined Acuity in 2018 as a Claims Representative. He was promoted to Senior Claims Representative in 2022 and Field Claims Representative in 2023. Stephen received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Franklin University and holds the Certified Credit Professional (CCP) and Associate Compliance Professional (ACP) designations. He resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
