The rules surrounding in-person absentee voting in Wisconsin may soon change.
Yesterday, the Wisconsin Supreme Court heard arguments regarding the legality of Racine’s mobile voting van from 2022.
A Racine judge previously ruled the van illegal, but advocates for voting rights argue that voting access shouldn’t be restricted by location or method.
Those opposing the van claim state election laws clearly prohibit mobile ballot collection.
The court, now with a liberal majority, has yet to announce when it will deliver its verdict.
