The Manitowoc Lincoln girls’ tennis team fell to Pulaski 5-2 yesterday (September 10th).
The lone wins come in #1 doubles, where Taylor Peterson and Zylia Kleinfeldt breezed by Alyssa Eggert and Addie Heezen 6-1, 6-3, and in #1 Singles.
Jordin Popp lost the first set 3-6, but bounced back for a hard-fought 7-6 win, and then had a marathon set against Ruth Krause, eventually securing an 11-9 win to claim the match.
The Ships will take today off before getting back into action Thursday when they travel to Pioneer Park in Ashwaubenon to take on the Jaguars.
