Appleton Police are calling a threat against a Fox Valley high school “vague.”
An announcement from police says around 6:30 pm this morning (September 10th), they were alerted to a potential threat made on Snapchat involving “North High School.”
Appleton Police say they are actively searching for the source of the message and working with jurisdictions and the Appleton Area School District to ensure safety of students.
School resource officers were deployed inside and out during the school day out of an abundance of caution.
Appleton Police also tell the community that they remain committed to thoroughly investigate all threats and ensure the safety of students.
No other information was announced.
