The annual Parade of Homes Show is getting underway starting today (September 12th).
According to the Manitowoc County Home Builders Association, seven homes will be showcased with some of the newest home trends, including custom cabinets, barn beams, mudrooms, and custom-tiled showers.
The homes offer a combination of modern farmhouses, ranches, and a pool house.
Brandon Bartow with Bartow Builders explained on his Tuesday show there’s a number one asset to Parade of Homes.
“Not only are you getting an opportunity to check out the work of the individual builders but you’re also getting an opportunity to have a conversation and get the know the builders and their team and find out if they are a fit for you and your project,” Bartow described.
Bartow continues, saying that six of the homes are brand new, while one is a combination of remodeling and new construction.
Tickets for the Parade of Homes can be purchased at the door of any of the seven homes for $10.
If you can’t make it to all the homes in a day, Operations Manager Lindsey Krause says you don’t have to.
“Your ticket for this event includes punches for each stop, so you don’t need to do it all in one day,” she described.
“If you want to hit two stops on Thursday and two stops on Friday, you can certainly do that. You just can’t repeat any stops with that same ticket.”
The homes are open today (September 12th) and Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Saturday they open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Four of the homes are located south of Manitowoc, while another is located off of Menasha Avenue.
The sixth home is located in Two Rivers in the Sandy Bay Highlands, while the seventh is in the town of Franklin on East Taus Road.
