The Wisconsin Local Food Purchase Assistance (LFPA) Program will be hosting fall events across the state, including one in Manitowoc.
An on-farm peer education event will take place on Tuesday, September 17th, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Sullivan Family Farm.
These events give attendees opportunities to network with local food system partners and come up with solutions for sustaining farm-to-food access.
As part of the On-farm events held by the Wisconsin LFPA, guided tours will be given to highlight diversified production styles of crops and different animals.
The tour at the Sullivan Family Farm will feature a look at their gardens, high tunnels, and on-farm store.
A full schedule of events and registration for the event on the Sullivan Family Farm can be found online at wilocalfood.org/events/sullivan-family-farm-event.
