Manitowoc’s Lincoln Park Zoo will be closed for a few hours this weekend.
Dan Koski, the City of Manitowoc’s Director of Public Infrastructure, announced that due to a cross-country meet being hosted by Roncalli, the zoo will be closed starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday (September 14th).
Race participants will be entering the Reed Avenue entrance, going along the main path past the Education Center building, then up the hill and out the main zoo entrance into Lincoln Park for the remainder of the course.
The zoo will re-open to the public after the race is completed, which is expected to be around 1:00 p.m.
