There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today (September 16th) in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Committee of the Whole, which will be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
They will enter a closed session to look over a term sheet for the Tax Incremental Financing District that would encompass the former Lakeshore and Mid-Cities Mall properties.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the full Common Council will take over the Chambers, where they will continue that TIF discussion.
They are also expected to approve a collective bargaining agreement between the City and International Association of Firefighters Local 368, which would be in effect through all of 2025, 2026, and 2027.
