A woman has been charged with fatally stabbing her boyfriend to death.
WBAY reports that 39-year-old Samantha Krebs has been in the Outagamie County Jail since July when homicide happened.
According to a criminal complaint, police were called to the 2800 block of North Park Drive on July 18th just before 10:00 pm and found a man stabbed.
Lifesaving measures were performed, but he was later pronounced dead.
The complaint continues saying that when someone was allowed into the apartment and found the boyfriend, Krebs said, “he just stabbed himself.”
Another witness told police Krebs was overheard saying “I can’t go back to prison.”
The criminal complaint finishes saying Krebs made the statement that she saw her boyfriend stab himself and “now I’m being arrested.”
Appleton Police say she said her boyfriend stabbed himself and she found out he died in a newspaper.
Krebs could face a life sentence if convicted.
Her bond’s been set at $1 million.
