The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced the opening of a new east and westbound passing lane on Highway 10.
Installation of the passing lanes on the section of the highway between Reedsville and Whitelaw began in May, and finished on time and on budget.
The $3.3 million project was designed to help reduce the risk of head-on collisions and to improve traffic flow. In total, 3.6 miles of passing lanes were installed.
Crews may remain out on the site for a short while for some landscaping, but traffic will not be affected.
