Manitowoc’s newest addition to the downtown area opens up today.
The Hop Locker, located at 822 Franklin Street next to FIRE Fitness, is owned by Tim Peterson.
“Maybe you don’t want to go and spend $40 on a bottle of wine. You would rather taste it before you buy it. You have that option here,” he explained. “Everything you see here is a taste before our buy.”
A grand opening and ribbon cutting is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. with representatives from the City of Manitowoc, Visit Manitowoc, and the Chamber of Manitowoc slated to be on hand.
Peterson encourages everyone to see what they have in stock.
He noted, “We have a great selection of beers, wines, and bourbons. Things you won’t see anywhere else.”
The Hop Locker will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00 until they close, and Sundays from 10:00 until 4:00 p.m.
