For the first time this season, the Manitowoc Lincoln girls’ tennis team was swept in singles competition as they fell to De Pere 5-2.
Jordin Popp suffered her first loss of the season, as Ana Cristescu won in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.
The only wins on the night came from doubles teams Taylor Peterson/Zylia Kleinfeldt, who won 6-1, 6-1, and London Vang/Mya Schneider, who won their match 4-6, 6-1, 10-8.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 9-6 and 4-2 in FRCC play and are now tied for 3rd in the conference.
The Ships are off this weekend before hosting a pair of home matchups next week.
On Tuesday, second-place Bay Port comes to town, bringing with them a 19-2 record and 5-1 record in the FRCC.
Then, on Thursday, the Ships will host Green Bay Preble, who sit 9th in the conference at 6-13, 0-6 in league play.
