A Kaukauna woman is getting prison time for a deadly crash in Calumet County.
Court records show that Bridget Miller will serve 20 years in prison on charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and two counts of injury by use of a vehicle.
Three other charges were dismissed but read into the record. Miller will also spend about 20 years on extended supervision plus get any assessment and counseling recommended by the Wisconsin DOC.
She’ll also have to pay $300,000 in restitution.
In March of last year, Miller was arrested after a crash on Oneida Street in the Village of Harrison.
A 19-year-old Grand Chute man died after Miller’s truck swerved into an oncoming lane and hit a sedan.
Two passengers were also injured in the wreck and taken to a hospital.
According to a criminal complaint, a preliminary breath test showed her blood alcohol level at .193, more than double the legal limit.
