The Manitowoc County Historical Society will review the lessons learned during a divisive time in American history.
Civil War Remembered gets underway at Pinecrest Historical Village on Saturday (September 28th) from 10:00 am to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
The historical society explains that although it’s been over 150 years since our country fought in the Civil War, the diaries, stories, and lessons remain.
Like before, Pinecrest Historical Village will be turned into a Civil War encampment where visitors can meet famous figures of the past and experience firsthand the turbulent time in America’s history.
The two days also feature a battle reenactment with cannons and marching infantry, which will take place at 1:00 p.m.
As always, admission for adults is $14 and $13 for seniors.
Children ages 4-17 get in for $10, while those four and under get in for free.
