For the first time this season, the Manitowoc Lincoln boys soccer team ended a game in the win column.
The Ships were at Green Bay Southwest yesterday (September 26th), where they picked up a 1-0 win over the Trojans.
Junior midfielder Tanner Heyn found the back of the net for the Ships in the 41st minute, while classmate Mitchell Drescher was solid in net, securing a shutout.
With the win, the Ships improve to 1-8, and even their FRCC record to 1-1.
The team will take the weekend off before traveling to Ashwaubenon next Tuesday (October 1st) for a game against the 3-7 Jaguars.
