After dropping a five-set match to state-ranked Manitowoc Lutheran Tuesday night, The Valders Vikings flipped the script Thursday night.
Trailing two sets to one to Sheboygan Falls, The Vikings rallied to win the following two sets and defeat the Falcons in a battle of two of the top three teams in the EWC.
Valders wins a five-set classic 25-14, 22-25, 13- 25, 25- 22, and 15 to 13 in the fifth and deciding set.
Coach Pam Erickson’s team improves to 4 and 0 in the EWC, tied with Kiel atop the conference, and 20 and 5 overall, while Sheboygan Falls drops to 3 and 1 in the league and 14 and 5 overall.
Valders hosts a multi-school Invitational on Saturday. The Vikings are scheduled to face Seymour at noon, Southern Door at 1 p.m., and Omro at 3 p.m.
Matches involving other schools will begin at 9 a.m., while the Falcons are off until Thursday, October 3rd when they host the Brillion Lions at 7 p.m.
